San Fernando Committee Condemns DAIA's Persecution Policy

The San Fernando – Tigre Committee for Solidarity with Palestine strongly condemns the policy of persecution and extortion carried out by the DAIA (Delegation of Argentine Jewish Associations) and denounces interference in a San Fernando institution.

The DAIA, assuming the role of a thought police, has presented itself to the authorities of the San Fernando Club to "report" that the father of a club player was wearing a t-shirt with the legend "Save Gaza".

We demand the arrest of Netanyahu be carried out, as ordered by the International Criminal Court for genocide.

In addition to holding over 11,000 Palestinians in Zionist dungeons in inhumane conditions and subjecting them to torture, the vast majority without legal definition and many of them being children.

On behalf of the millions of workers worldwide who speak out, mobilize, and call for strikes against the Palestinian genocide, we say, louder than ever: "Save Palestine!"

"It is surprising how a slogan to save a people can be considered an anti-Semitic attitude," part of an opinion column published on the "San Fernando Nuestro" portal reads.

In their statement, the DAIA presents the incident as an "act of provocation" that draws on "anti-Semitism, discrimination, and hate speech"; they also communicate that they will advance with the San Fernando Club by conducting "trainings and educational actions".

The incident took place at the San Fernando Club during a match between the local team and Macabi.
